Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. In that role, she covers all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence to space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin has a background in the field of space and has was a part of the space industry for five years, covering the Trump and Biden Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. In addition to covering impeachment trials of two presidents, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic The reporter also covered a range of other topics. Kristin was on the road extensively, including both the president and vice-president. The reporter even took a secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump. Before becoming a part of the company in, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up in local TV news stations including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Utilizing her expertise in front of the camera Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company was a specialist in documentary style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
